At Vast, we are working toward a future where billions of people live and thrive in space. Our team is building artificial gravity space stations to enable long-term stays in orbit, starting with Haven-1, which is slated to become the world’s first commercial space station. We are looking for a Mid-Level Brand Designer to join our team on a full-time basis at our location in Long Beach. In this role, you will work alongside our Marketing leadership to craft visual stories that inspire our partners and customers. If you are passionate about space exploration and want to contribute to a mission-driven team, we would love to see your portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and informative visual assets across print and digital media that align with our established brand identity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering and business development to translate complex ideas into designs that resonate with a global audience.
  • Oversee the entire design lifecycle, from initial concepts and project management to final deliverables and coordination with external vendors.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional design experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Google Suite, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong skills in typography, illustration, and digital or social media layouts.
  • Effective communication and time management abilities, with a proven capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You must be a U.S. person as defined by federal export control regulations to be eligible for this position.

What we offer

The base salary for this position is between $94,200 and $166,000 USD. Beyond your base pay, we provide a comprehensive package that includes:
