At Vast, we are working toward a future where billions of people live and thrive in space. Our team is building artificial gravity space stations to enable long-term stays in orbit, starting with Haven-1, which is slated to become the world’s first commercial space station. We are looking for a Mid-Level Brand Designer to join our team on a full-time basis at our location in Long Beach. In this role, you will work alongside our Marketing leadership to craft visual stories that inspire our partners and customers. Responsibilities
- Create engaging and informative visual assets across print and digital media that align with our established brand identity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering and business development to translate complex ideas into designs that resonate with a global audience.
- Oversee the entire design lifecycle, from initial concepts and project management to final deliverables and coordination with external vendors.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional design experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Google Suite, and PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in typography, illustration, and digital or social media layouts.
- Effective communication and time management abilities, with a proven capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- You must be a U.S. person as defined by federal export control regulations to be eligible for this position.
What we offer
The base salary for this position is between $94,200 and $166,000 USD. Beyond your base pay, we provide a comprehensive package that includes:
