At Array Labs, we are on a mission to build a constellation of satellites that will generate the first accurate 3D map of our planet. By utilizing formation-flying radar satellites, we are revolutionizing Earth observation and providing unparalleled insights into global changes. We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team and help us push the boundaries of what is possible in space technology.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Board Design Engineer for a full-time, on-site position. In this role, you will take ownership of the layout, manufacturing, and bring-up processes for the radar, communications, and compute hardware that powers our satellites and ground infrastructure. - Develop advanced electronic platforms by managing the entire process from initial architecture through final manufacturing.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, RF, antenna, and mechanical engineering teams to design and validate state-of-the-art spacecraft electronics.
- Lead prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, and testing campaigns, while iterating on designs based on laboratory and on-orbit performance data.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in board design, layout, electronics manufacturing, and testing.
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in full-lifecycle development for industries such as aerospace, robotics, or communications.
- Strong background in high-speed board design, including PCB stack-up, component selection, and signal integrity simulation.
- Hands-on expertise with high-performance platforms, including FPGAs, SoCs, and high-speed interfaces like PCIe.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Note: Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident, or a protected individual.
