We are looking for a BIM Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role you will oversee the creation and coordination of building information models and related documentation for our electrical systems, ensuring that every project meets our standards for quality and constructability. At Modular Power Solutions we specialize in delivering integrated power solutions for construction projects, and our BIM processes are central to how we coordinate complex electrical installations across multiple trades.
Responsibilities
- Lead the virtual construction and design documentation process by managing BIM models, field and shop drawings, and system content for our product lines.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise a team of modelers and coordinators while ensuring all work complies with our corporate BIM program and processes.
- Coordinate with internal staff and other MEP trades during model reviews, conflict resolution using Navisworks, and regular coordination meetings to keep projects on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- At least two years of experience working in an architecture, engineering, or contracting environment, with demonstrated proficiency in Revit Architecture/MEP 2010 or later and AutoCAD 2D/3D.
- Strong working knowledge of the manufacturing or construction industry, Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
