What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Designer 2 to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in Canada. By collaborating with our Advanced Concepts team, you will explore new technologies and sustainable manufacturing methods to evolve our product line.
What will you do?
- Develop innovative concepts for bags, packs, and gloves that directly address the functional needs of our athletes and customers.
- Partner with Design Developers to create patterns, mock-ups, and prototypes that test new construction techniques and resolve complex design challenges.
- Present your work during seasonal stage gates and design reviews while collaborating with Product Developers to bring your concepts to life with our factory partners.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should possess a blend of technical expertise and creative vision. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
- You hold a degree in Industrial Design, Apparel Design, or Textile Engineering.
- You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the design of bags, packs, or accessories.
- You possess strong technical skills in pattern making and prototyping, paired with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- You are an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work with a high degree of autonomy.
- You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and are always looking for ways to inspire breakthrough thinking.
- You have a genuine passion for the outdoors and a desire to live the lifestyle that our products support.
What's in it for you?
We value the well-being of our team and are committed to providing a supportive work environment. As part of our team, you will enjoy the following benefit:
- Hybrid work arrangements to help you balance your professional and personal life.
