The role
We are searching for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an individual contributor role based in India, specifically in Bangalore, where you will be expected to work in a hybrid capacity. We are looking for someone with 4 to 8 years of experience who is eager to focus on technical execution rather than management. You should be comfortable working with some overlap with US business hours when necessary.
Core responsibilities
- Take full ownership of platform and feature development, managing the entire lifecycle from initial requirements through to final release.
- Write high-quality, production-grade code that is reliable and free of bugs.
- Develop modular applications that effectively support multiple servers and clients while focusing on system design for high efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Strong analytical, design, and coding skills.
- A genuine passion for hands-on development and a desire to remain an individual contributor.
- A willingness to work with our Node and JavaScript backend stack.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with system integrations is considered a plus.
