About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Intern to join our Platform team. This is a full-time, on-site position designed for a junior professional who is eager to contribute to our core engineering efforts. You will work closely with our global team to support the development and maintenance of the systems that keep our clients' fleets running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python to support our fleet automation platform.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of robust Network APIs to ensure seamless system integration.
- Apply your debugging and analytical skills to identify issues and perform effective code refactoring to improve system performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in software engineering and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment. We value the following qualifications:
- Up to 5 years of experience working with Python.
- Proven experience in Network API design, such as REST.
- A strong background in automated testing practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
- Bonus points if you have experience with PostgreSQL, Django, or architecting relational database-backed web applications.
- Familiarity with DevOps, data analysis, or mobile app development is highly desirable.
