You will join Ritual as we build a sovereign layer for AI. Our first product, Infernet, lets developers reach models both on-chain through smart contracts and off-chain, while the Ritual chain we are now developing will serve as a purpose-built foundation for AI-native operations and new applications that combine crypto and AI.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with product and research teams to create prototypes, gather feedback, and refine them with the engineering group until they reach production quality.
- Review code and technical proposals, offering clear feedback that helps teammates improve their work.
- Design, test, debug, and launch large-scale decentralized systems that run across hundreds of nodes, working in areas such as distributed and peer-to-peer systems, AI and machine learning, and blockchain technology.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone who is fluent in a systems programming language such as Rust, C, C++, assembly, shell scripting, or domain-specific languages. You should also have deep knowledge in at least one of the following areas: networking, distributed systems, storage, databases, operating systems, or runtimes, so you can read research papers and turn their ideas into working designs. Experience shipping production-grade systems or applications is essential, especially those that involve machine learning or incentive mechanisms. Strong communication and collaboration skills will help you work effectively with engineers and operators who have already built and launched products in the ML and blockchain fields. You will use Python with PyTorch, Rust, and Google Cloud Platform as part of your daily work.
