You will join HubSpot as a Technical Lead II on the Reporting AI Backend team, where your work will directly shape how 120,000 customers turn their marketing, sales, and service activity into clear, actionable insights. Reporting sits at the heart of the product experience: every customer relies on it to see the results of their efforts inside a platform that ingests petabytes of CRM and event data each day. What you'll be doing
- Lead a small team of engineers, setting technical direction while remaining hands-on with design, implementation, and delivery of reliable, well-tested backend services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to integrate reporting capabilities into new AI-powered experiences that deliver faster, more relevant insights to customers.
- Mentor team members through code reviews, coaching, and guidance on architecture decisions, while driving strong ownership of projects from initial concept through production rollout.
What you'll bring
You bring previous experience leading engineers or technical projects and a demonstrated ability to take responsibility for both the design and successful delivery of software. You are comfortable performing code reviews, coaching others, and balancing strategic planning with day-to-day technical work. Strong communication skills allow you to influence stakeholders and build effective cross-functional relationships. You value autonomy and flexibility, maintain a customer-centric mindset, and are committed to continuous technical and career growth. Experience building AI-powered features or products is a plus, and fluency in English is required.
