About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer (Infrastructure) to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity. This mid-level role is central to our mission, as you will lead the development of the core systems and infrastructure that power our products. You will be responsible for building scalable, reliable, and efficient backend solutions that support our rapidly growing user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain foundational systems, including our data infrastructure, streaming platforms for our innovative avatars, and high-performance ML inference systems.
- Partner closely with our product engineers and AI researchers to ensure our systems are highly performant and meet the needs of our users.
- Maintain high standards of code quality by conducting regular code reviews, engaging in pair programming, and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a passion for building robust systems. Our requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, C++, or Java.
- Hands-on experience working with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with major cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of modern API design and development practices.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary range of $180,000 to $240,000. In addition to your salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and future, which includes a 401k plan.
