The Opportunity: 

VISASQ/COLEMAN is seeking a talented and motivated backend engineer with extensive Python and Gen AI experience based preferably on the East Coast (US) to join our growing Development team. This role offers work from home or in the office flexibility depending on location. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SaaS platform engineering on Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure and a keen interest in Generative AI technology. This role will involve both development and production support responsibilities to help us create, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge AI platform.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and validate Python-based components of the platform, with an emphasis on the latest LLMs and predictive machine learning models. 

• Integrate the latest AI models into production environments using MLOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and version control. 

• Optimize AI performance, scalability, and efficiency at the level of enterprise production system. 

• Provide L3-level support to the production platform deployed on Microsoft Azure Cloud and integrated with Google Cloud Platform. 

• Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning, MLOps, and Generative AI, and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications: 

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 

• 3-5 years of experience in Python backend engineering or Machine Learning engineering role. 

• Demonstrable experience with Azure Cloud services. 

• Understanding of Generative AI technologies and their applications. 

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. 

• Authorized to work in the United States 

 Desirable Skills: 

• Contributions to open-source projects or public repositories showcasing relevant work. 

• Prior experience with generative models in a production or research setting.

A Backend Engineer ll salary compensates them for all hours worked, which may vary from week to week. Backend Engineer ll carry an FLSA-exempt status and are not eligible for overtime pay.
