What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who is comfortable wearing a DevOps hat to join us on a full-time basis. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for the following:
- Developing robust backend solutions using Node.js, GCP, and Firebase services like Cloud Functions and Firestore.
- Architecting and building custom integrations for payments, ticketing, and content management systems.
- Managing and scaling our cloud infrastructure to ensure our live events run smoothly under high traffic.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong command of Node.js and extensive experience with GCP and Firebase. We value candidates who have a solid grasp of DevOps principles and cloud architecture. You should be comfortable communicating in English and have the ability to work effectively within small, multidisciplinary teams. We are looking for someone who is proactive, capable of working independently on mid-sized projects, and eager to contribute to the ongoing evolution of our internal backend framework, Medusa.
