We are Anima, a company that builds tools for developers and designers with the goal of generating production-ready code directly from design files. Our team is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join us full time in a remote capacity and help advance our AI-driven platform.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate business needs into technical specifications and architecture designs that support our AI applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, including APIs, web services, and database schemas that power our AI-driven tools.
- Implement efficient algorithms and data structures, conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning to continuously improve our development processes.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in full-stack or backend development with a strong focus on architecture and scalability.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, along with experience using frameworks such as Django, Flask, and Node.js.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, and familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- A genuine interest in artificial intelligence and a desire to apply AI techniques to solve real-world problems.
