THE ROLE
We are seeking a person who will be in the role of improving, supporting, and expanding the online performance and sales of our Sourcing Partners worldwide. You will establish trusting bonds with Sourcing Partners at every level while collaborating with the larger commercial team and other Farfetch team members worldwide to make sure Sourcing Partners are actively involved in achieving business objectives.
This role combines Account Management with Business Development, focusing on securing new opportunities while managing existing relationships. This position is ideal for a senior individual contributor who combines commercial acumen with operational expertise and possesses the leadership capability to mentor others or manage a team as the region grows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Account Management & Partner Success
  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding of partners, ensuring a smooth transition and providing guidance on working methods and overall processes.
  • Monitor and enhance partner operational efficiency, delivering performance metrics, insights, and process improvements.
  • Identify and drive growth plans, assessing opportunities for commercial and operational expansion and supporting their execution
  • Champion the Client Mindset: You will demonstrate a deep ability to understand internal and external client needs, concerns, and provide concrete solutions to achieve mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Conduct regular business reviews internally and with the partners with an aim to assess the performance, identify potential challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Business Development & Commercial Growth
  • Identify and secure new opportunities: You will identify new B2B business opportunities, driving commercial transactions and ensuring profitability. You will apply a Commercial Mindset, approaching situations and making decisions that are commercially driven by understanding the factors that influence business success.
  • Negotiate Strategic Agreements: You will effectively plan, strategize, influence, and drive discussions aimed at reaching favorable agreements. You will negotiate contracts and terms to secure long-term, mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Efficiency
  • Work closely with internal teams (Buying, Merchandise, Operations, Finance, Tech, etc.) to align objectives and drive seamless execution.
  • Provide structured feedback on partner needs, ensuring internal teams develop solutions that support long-term success.
  • Optimize existing workflows and processes to improve both operational execution and revenue growth.


  • WHO YOU ARE
  • Experience: You have commercial experience ideally from a retail, brand, or wholesale environment—fashion and luxury contact is a plus. You possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in B2B partnerships, business development, or strategic account management.
  • Relationship Focused: You are able to easily build relationships with the different stakeholders of the business. You are skilled at building and managing relationships with key partners at different execution levels, from C-levels to more operational ones, as well as different internal teams.
  • Commercially Minded: You possess a strong Commercial Mindset, understanding what drives business success and the factors that influence it such as revenue drivers, market trends, and competitive positioning in the luxury resale industry. You are able to translate industry and performance insights into growth strategies and data-driven decisions.
  • A Skilled Negotiator: You excel at Negotiation, with the ability to effectively plan, strategize, influence, and drive discussions aimed at reaching favorable agreements.
  • A Strategic Thinker: You are capable of Strategic Thinking, able to develop a broad overview of an area or mission and link long-range visions to daily work.
  • Organized & Proactive: You are well organized and proactive, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at a fast pace.
  • Bilingual: You are fluent in Japanese and English, required for business negotiations, partner engagement, and internal collaboration.

We are a global minded and culturally diverse team, combining both Filipino, Portuguese and Chinese team members.
