About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional for an Automotive Business Development position. This is a full-time, executive-level role that operates on-site at our Tokyo location. You will serve as a bridge between our internal teams and our external partners, managing a blend of strategic planning and operational execution to drive our business forward in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery sessions to identify specific client requirements and align them with our technical solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and deliver tailored product demonstrations to showcase the value of our software to potential customers.
• Collaborate with our internal product and engineering departments to define technical scopes, refine business models, and secure project approvals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Over 10 years of professional experience within the automotive industry.
• A proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to balance multiple deadlines.
• Professional proficiency in the Japanese language.
• A deep interest in direct customer engagement and relationship building.

Location

This position is based in Japan at our Tokyo office, where we maintain an in-office work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $112,000 to $182,000 USD. Please note that this is an estimate, and final compensation may vary based on our internal practices. In addition to salary, we offer the following benefit:
