We are looking for a Senior Associate UX Director to join our team in Switzerland on a full-time, on-site basis. At Sonar, we are a group of driven professionals dedicated to helping organizations build high-quality, secure, and responsible code. We focus on fixing problems at the source, and our solutions are widely recognized and used by developers across the globe. With a strong foundation in the open-source community, we are committed to delivering Clean Code and maintaining a dynamic, inclusive culture that spans offices in the USA, Switzerland, the UK, Singapore, and Germany.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a group of 3 to 7 UX designers and researchers, ensuring they receive regular feedback and have clear opportunities for professional growth.
- Serve as the primary advocate for UX within your domain, aligning design efforts with our broader product and business strategies.
- Oversee staffing needs, manage hiring priorities, and actively participate in the recruitment process to build a resilient and talented team.
Requirements
We are seeking a seasoned leader with a deep background in UX design and research. You should possess strong systems thinking capabilities and a proven track record in people management, talent development, and change management. We value candidates who demonstrate:
