About the Job: 

The Taco Bell social team is an industry-leading group that develops and builds a breakthrough brand presence, innovative programs and leading community engagement for Taco Bell across social channels and platforms.  As the Associate Manager, Social Strategy, you’ll be leading the creative strategy and development of all product-centric social communications for a key aspect of our menu (Cantina and Crispy Chicken) designed to build awareness for Taco Bell, drive restaurant visits and fuel the Taco Bell cult. Reporting directly to the Social Manager, this role will focus primarily on the following:

The Day-to-Day:

  • Be a critical part of the Social Team that sits at the center of Taco Bell campaigns and communication - creating a creative, innovative approach to the work
  • Lead social campaigns that support the Cantina Menu, Crispy Chicken pillar of the product calendar from briefings through creative development and execution
  • Partner with key stakeholders across brand, product and marketing communications to ensure creative is integrated and reflects a holistic go-to-market strategy end-to-end that is built to accomplish the needs of the Taco Bell Social strategy, paid media and larger Cantina/Brand strategy
  • Social point of contact and key lead with creative agencies to execute breakthrough creative that embodies the Taco Bell social strategy and visual identity
  • Translate brand and consumer insights into clear and inspiring creative briefs and activation plans.
  • Champion the social and brand strategy and ensure all communication efforts ladder up
  • Customize a creative approach for each social platform to achieve the strongest campaign presence and leverage platform-specific capabilities
  • Accountable for all launch needs for campaigns, across owned earned and paid including approving creator lists and strategies, ensuring all paid media trafficking documents are complete, ensuring all posting instructions and community guides are understood by CM team and all channel considerations are addressed
  • Develop and oversee measurement and optimization plans for each campaign
  • Stay current on creative and social best practices and trends as an expert in the space

Is This You?

  • 5+ years experience working in social media
  • Engaged daily in ever-evolving landscape of internet culture and trends with a passion and profound comprehension of the social media eco system
  • Fluent in providing clear and productive creative direction as well as experience writing and receiving briefs.
  • Proven to enhance social creative ideation, maximize integrated strategies, and create breakthrough opportunities
  • Ability to inspire Creative teams
  • Comfort and confidence with emerging forms of content, channels, and technology
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Exceptional communication skills — on the page and in presentation
  • Outstanding organizational skills – with meticulous attention to detail
  • Committed to a hands-on approach, ensuring that even the smallest tasks are executed with precision

Work-Hard, Play-Hard:

  • Hybrid work schedule (onsite expectation Tues, Wed, Thurs) and year-round flex day Friday

Salary Range: ­­$106,700 to $120,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
