The role
We are seeking an Associate Director of Publishing Insights to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is an executive-level position that serves as a foundational pillar within our organization. You will report to the Head of Business Insights and Analytics, working closely with our Product Marketing, MarCom, and Growth teams to define what success looks like for our emerging titles. This is a strategic role for a leader who is ready to build out an insights discipline that is essential to our company culture.
Core responsibilities
- Lead our insights strategy by identifying key performance indicators early in the development process and serving as a trusted advisor to internal teams and studio partners regarding data-driven decision-making.
- Gather and apply actionable insights by building out our internal toolset, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to understand audience behaviors, and informing growth efforts through competitive landscape analysis.
- Drive optimization and reporting by developing measurement plans, maintaining dashboards, and presenting clear, data-backed recommendations to executive stakeholders to ensure our publishing activities achieve the best possible outcomes.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in an insights function, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership capacity, ideally within the gaming, entertainment, or sports sectors.
- A deep understanding of research methodologies and data gathering, including experience with tools such as Gamesight, Qualtrics, Tableau, Brandwatch, GWI, MRI, and Nielsen.
- The ability to independently set up reporting dashboards and translate complex data into clear, strategic narratives.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with a bias for action and a collaborative approach to solving complex challenges.
- An MBA is considered a plus, as is bilingual proficiency in Korean.
Compensation and benefits
For this position, the expected salary range is $170,000 to $195,000. This range represents a good faith estimate, and final compensation will be determined based on relevant factors including your experience, education, skills, and location.
