Our team developed the first FDA-approved treatments for hallucinations and delusions associated with Parkinson’s disease psychosis and for Rett syndrome. We continue to focus our clinical efforts on challenging conditions such as Prader-Willi syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease psychosis. We are currently seeking an Associate Director, HCP Marketing to join our team in San Diego, California. This is a hybrid role, and we ask that you work from our office an average of three days per week.
Key outcomes
- Lead brand strategy and message evolution while developing promotional materials for community-based sales, long-term care sales, and non-personal promotion channels.
- Drive the brand planning process across the organization and translate complex clinical data and market research into effective commercial strategies.
- Manage the peer-to-peer strategy and oversee marketing activities for medical conventions, exhibits, and trade shows.
- Partner with sales leadership, managed markets, and medical affairs to optimize promotional materials and ensure alignment with corporate policies.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and manage commercial advisory boards.
- Design and optimize HCP media and digital tactics while maintaining oversight of the US HCP promotions budget.
- Collaborate with the consumer marketing team to ensure cohesive activation across all field activities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in biopharmaceutical brand management and multi-channel tactical execution.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to present a clear vision to senior leadership.
- Ability to travel independently by car or airplane up to 40% of the time.
Preferred qualifications
- An MBA or equivalent advanced degree with an emphasis in marketing, brand management, or market research.
- Prior therapeutic experience in the field of neurology.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $147,000 to $184,000 USD. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity awards.
