What is this role?
We are seeking an Associate Director, Design to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position for a visionary leader who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on creative execution. You will report to the Director of Creative and play a pivotal role in guiding our design team while ensuring our creative output remains at the highest standard for our e-commerce and brand-focused clients.
What will you do?
- Lead and mentor a growing team of designers by conducting weekly check-ins, providing constructive feedback on client work, and supporting their professional development.
- Manage high-impact design projects from discovery to final hand-off, ensuring that all work aligns with business objectives and maintains visual excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including marketing, product, and development teams, to refine internal processes and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in growth marketing, brand design, and web design. We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
- 3 to 6 years of senior-level design experience, with at least one year of experience in people management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, specifically with Auto Layout, components, and variants, alongside strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A professional digital portfolio that demonstrates mastery of web design, typography, composition, and color theory.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to lead client-facing discovery calls and present design solutions with clarity and confidence.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and solve complex business problems through design.
