Assistant Buyer at Alo Yoga

At Alo, our mission is rooted in the practice of mindful movement. This philosophy defines our studio-to-street approach, and we are looking for a dedicated Assistant Buyer to join our team in the United States. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will work directly with our collaborative team to drive assortment strategies and support our women’s division.

Key outcomes

• Provide daily support to the Senior Buyer and the Women’s team to ensure operational success.
• Manage purchase orders, including the monitoring and tracking of warehouse arrival dates.
• Collaborate with the allocations team to establish assortment strategies and delivery details for new seasons.
• Maintain accurate reporting for weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles while managing delivery calendars.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for inventory distribution.
• Prepare concise recap reports and document meeting action items to ensure team alignment.
• Assist in seasonal buying periods and eventually take ownership of specific product categories within the Women’s division.

Requirements

• One to two years of professional experience in merchandising, buying, or planning.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on problem-solving and continuous growth.
• Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing documentation and data.
• Ability to thrive in an on-site, collaborative environment while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from $67,000 to $70,000 per year. Please note that final compensation is determined by factors such as individual experience, performance, and location. This base salary is one part of our broader total rewards package, which may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, and a comprehensive paid time off policy.
