Assembly, Integration, and Test Technician at Karman+

We are Karman+, a team of scientists, engineers, and space enthusiasts dedicated to mining near-Earth asteroids to provide sustainable resources for both space and Earth. We are currently looking for a Full Time, on-site Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) Technician to join us in Broomfield, Colorado. In this mid-level role, you will be a hands-on contributor to our High Frontier mission, building the spacecraft systems that will allow us to operate beyond Earth orbit. Responsibilities

• Own the harness lab by managing inventories, defining build standards, and performing both test and flight harness fabrication and re-work.
• Execute flight vehicle build operations, including mechanical and electrical component installation, harness routing, MLI fabrication, and support for propellant loading systems.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members, assisting with the hiring of additional technicians, and offering design input to ensure our spacecraft are buildable and integration-ready.

Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and building test or flight harnesses for aerospace, avionics, or spacecraft systems.
• Deep familiarity with spacecraft build standards, best practices, and the ability to influence technical documentation and troubleshooting processes.
• Proficiency with essential hardware skills such as soldering, crimping, cable routing, and continuity verification.
• Experience working with electrical drawings, schematics, and design tools like Altium or Visio.
• Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual to comply with export regulations.
