Babbel is hiring an experienced performance marketer to join our team as an ASO Manager in our New York City office.
About the Role:
We are hiring a highly analytical and results-driven ASO Manager to manage and optimize our App Store and Google Play Store presence. This role will focus on App Store Optimization (ASO) to improve customer acquisition and organic visibility. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in developing and executing ASO strategies to optimize app store rankings, improve conversion rates, run international App Store event promos, and working with Apple and Google editorial teams to get Babbel featured. Additionally, this person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement A/B testing, analyze performance metrics, and continuously refine strategies to maximize ROI. This role will be responsible for multiple geos, with a primary focus on North America, EU, and DACH regions.
This position is located in NYC and requires a minimum of 3 days/week in office.
You will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive ASO strategy to improve app store rankings worldwide and increase organic installs.
- Increase mobile conversion rates by optimizing app store screenshots and copy.
- Improve search term and category rankings in Babbel’s focus geos.
- Manage hundreds of SKUs and pricing for promotional offers across supported geos globally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Apple and Google app store editorial teams to secure featured app placements, stay up to date on best practices, and leverage new opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.
- Work closely with Product teams to design, implement, and analyze A/B split tests to optimize performance and conversion rates.
- Provide project management support to ensure marketing initiatives and deadlines are met.
You have:
- 2+ years of experience in mobile app marketing, with a focus on organic growth or ASO.
- Track record of managing and optimizing App Store and Google Play listings for an international product.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience with ASO strategies, including keyword optimization, creative testing, and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience working with attribution platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular) and mobile analytics tools.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Creative, and Data teams to drive growth initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders.

Salary Information:
- In New York City, the reasonable annualized full-time salary for this role is $90,000-$120,000. placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level.
