We are looking for a visionary Art Director to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this executive-level role, you will be responsible for shaping our creative identity and ensuring that our visual storytelling remains both innovative and consistent across all platforms. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of design excellence, and we need a leader who can bridge the gap between strategic marketing objectives and high-impact visual execution.

Key outcomes

  • Establish and communicate a clear creative vision that aligns with our brand guidelines and overarching strategic goals.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to our external creative teams to foster a culture of innovation and high-quality output.
  • Conceptualize original visual ideas that resonate across multiple channels and diverse mediums.
  • Manage the end-to-end creative lifecycle, ensuring every project is delivered on schedule and within the designated budget.
  • Uphold brand integrity by ensuring all visual assets adhere to our established design standards.
  • Partner with leadership, marketing, and communications teams to translate business needs into compelling creative concepts.
  • Integrate emerging industry trends and new design technologies into our daily workflows to keep our brand at the forefront of the market.
  • Present creative strategies to stakeholders, utilizing feedback to refine and perfect our multi-channel campaigns.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related creative discipline.
  • More than 8 years of professional experience as an Art Director, specifically within a $200M consumer brand environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity, managing both internal staff and contract creatives.
  • A robust portfolio that showcases your ability to execute successful projects across various mediums and platforms.
  • Deep expertise in typography, color theory, and fundamental design principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software and creative tools.
  • A proven history of solving complex problems and delivering initiatives that meet strategic, budgetary, and timeline requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and retail partners.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on the latest advancements in design.
