Lead the Future of Data and AI at MYOB

We’re looking for a passionate Data and AI Architect to craft and deliver innovative architectures that transform how businesses leverage data and AI.
The Role
As the Architect in this new space, you’ll help drive MYOB’s data and AI strategy by delivering impactful, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs and business goals. This role combines thought leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration to ensure MYOB stays at the forefront of data innovation.
In this role you will:
- Inspire teams and stakeholders with a compelling vision for the future of data and AI.
- Drive the development of innovative use cases, prototypes, and scalable architectures.
- Be a key part of the Data and AI team tasked with shaping MYOB’s data vision, driving strategies for managing data as a first-class product.
- Partner with technology teams to deliver impactful, customer-focused solutions.
- Foster collaboration with vendors and industry partners to leverage cutting-edge capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Be the Architect responsible for MYOB’s exploration of data and AI possibilities, delivering impactful solutions that align with customer needs and business goals.
- Translate architecture into action by co-developing prototypes and first iterations, accelerating implementation and value delivery.
- Advocate for high-quality, well-managed data products and systems, ensuring usability and protection meet MYOB standards.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to communicate the value of data and AI initiatives, using storytelling and presentations to inspire action.
- Role model a culture of rapid experimentation, enabling MYOB to adapt and discover what works in an evolving market landscape.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in data and AI architecture, with a track record of delivering impactful, scalable solutions.
- Experience with platforms like Snowflake, dbt, and AWS SageMaker/Bedrock, as well as both traditional and generative AI methods.
- Strong technical mindset with the ability to align technical innovation with business objectives.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, inspiring and leading through influence.
- Thrives in dynamic environments, championing experimentation and rapid prototyping to drive impactful outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Snowflake) are advantageous.
