About the role

As an ASO Specialist, you will lead App Store Optimization efforts to secure top rankings and conversions for targeted keywords across all relevant app stores. Your primary objective will be to optimize app visibility and enhance key metrics such as Conversion Rate (CR) to find ways to generate new users, conversions, and drive rapid mobile app growth.

Collaborating with different teams across product, growth, engineering, design, and marketing, you will conduct metadata tests and implement improvements to maximize app store performance and user engagement. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring our apps consistently rank high in search results and achieve strong conversion outcomes for VEED.

What you will do

• Research, develop and implement ASO strategies to improve app visibility and increase conversion rates in app stores.
• Conduct keyword research to optimize app meta-data, including titles, descriptions, and texts to maximize discoverability. Perform competitive analysis to stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape and any changes to app store policies that could affect rankings or search results.
• Monitor and track app store and keyword rankings using analytic tracking tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Stay up to date with the latest trends, news, and best practices around ASO.
• Execute A/B tests, run experiments and analyze data results to make data-driven decisions for optimizing app performance.
• Create frameworks for measuring and reporting on ASO campaign performance and its impact on the user acquisition funnel and overall performance.
• Own the execution of in-app events and Custom Product Pages, including briefing, copywriting, and cross-functional project management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SEO, Growth, Marketing, Data, and core Product teams to deliver value for the company and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Support other projects beyond app store optimization across various teams that involve SEO keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities, leveraging your skills to contribute to broader initiatives and drive overall success for VEED.
• Stay curious about AI advancements and explore how AI-driven strategies can enhance app engagement, discoverability, and conversion rates from views to installs.

About you

• Great understanding of App Store Optimization including algorithms, analytics tools, and effective strategies for improving app performance, as well as proficiency with reporting and data visualization tools for organizing and analyzing large volumes of information.
• Proven knowledge of app store algorithms, optimization methods, and effective strategies for improving app store performance.
• Logical thinker, breaking down complex problems into individual parts
• Hungry and goal oriented, willing to take on multiple initiatives at once
• Numbers-driven mindset, excellent analytical skills and ability to turn analytical insights into marketing actions and use them to influence business decisions
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning

Location Requirement: At VEED, we are remote, enabling teams and individuals to design their day and integrate work and life. However, this position is open exclusively to candidates based in the Philippines. Applicants must reside in the Philippines to be considered for this role.
