We are MFS, an innovative and dynamic firm specializing in engineering and surveying. We are currently looking for a driven, career-minded professional to join our team as an APM I or Senior Staff Engineer within our Site Civil division. This is a full-time, on-site position based primarily out of our headquarters in South Plainfield, New Jersey. We support a wide range of projects across the energy, healthcare, education, and government sectors, and we are eager to find someone who is ready to contribute to our ongoing success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, technical reports, and comprehensive specifications for our diverse project portfolio.
- Execute complex site design tasks, including city zoning analysis, site layout, and project phasing.
- Manage the design of critical infrastructure components such as storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water mains, and site grading.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in engineering and site development. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience with AutoCAD software for professional design and drafting.
- A solid understanding of zoning regulations, site layout principles, and utility design.
- The ability to work effectively on-site in our South Plainfield office.
- Strong technical skills related to storm and sanitary sewer systems.
