Antenna Engineer at Reach

We are Reach, the industry leader in high-performance wireless power-at-a-distance technology. Much like how Wi-Fi revolutionized data delivery, our patented system transforms the way electric power is distributed through high-efficiency beaming circuits and adaptive electromagnetic surfaces. We are currently looking for a Mid-Level Antenna Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. You will play a pivotal role in developing the antennas and arrays that power our first-of-its-kind platform, which serves critical sectors including government, manufacturing, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement antenna arrays for high-frequency operations ranging from 1GHz to 24GHz.
• Conduct computer simulations and create PCB antenna prototypes while researching new design approaches for future product iterations.
• Collaborate across mechanical, RF, and electrical engineering teams to define performance goals and ensure successful system integration and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in electromagnetics and a passion for hands-on product development. We require the following qualifications:

• An MS degree in electrical engineering, though a PhD is preferred.
• Three to five years of direct experience developing antennas and antenna arrays.
• Proficiency with EM simulation software such as HFSS or CST, as well as circuit simulation tools like Keysight ADS.
• Practical experience with RF lab equipment, including spectrum analyzers and VNAs, for device characterization.
• A solid understanding of EMI and EMC safety compliance and certification processes.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot high-power microwave chains and beamforming systems.
