This technology allows for high-resolution, wide-area imaging and instant 3D data capture, which will eventually power a real-time, 3D model of the entire Earth. What is this role?
We are looking for a mid-level Antenna Design Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, simulation, and validation of advanced antenna systems for both ground-based and on-orbit platforms. You will serve as a bridge between electromagnetic theory and flight-ready hardware, ensuring our communications and radar systems meet the rigorous demands of space-based missions.
What will you do?
- Design, simulate, and optimize various antenna types, such as microstrip arrays, patch antennas, and phase arrays.
- Collaborate with our mechanical, firmware, systems, and RF engineering teams to ensure our antennas meet all performance, packaging, and reliability constraints.
- Perform full electromagnetic simulations and lead the prototyping and testing of antenna systems in both field and lab environments, including anechoic chamber and range testing.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in RF systems and a passion for iterative design. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of research or industry experience in RF systems or antenna engineering.
- Proficiency with simulation and design tools such as ADS, CST, HFSS, and MATLAB.
- Strong knowledge of RF system design, impedance matching, and transmission line theory.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You must be a US citizen or a permanent resident to comply with ITAR regulations.
We also value candidates who possess a Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, as well as those with experience in aerospace applications, phased array design, or beamforming networks.
