At Luzia we are building the fastest-growing AI company in Europe. Backed by Silicon Valley investors Khosla Ventures and A*, our conversational platform already serves more than 30 million users worldwide. We are now expanding our native Android application to become the leading personal-intelligent-assistant platform across Latin America, and we are looking for a senior engineer to lead that effort.
Key outcomes
- Advance Luzia’s Android applications so they set the standard for AI-driven personal assistants in Latin America.
- Integrate new capabilities that leverage the latest large-language-model research into the mobile product.
- Optimize application performance and resource usage across a wide range of Android devices.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain a seamless user experience.
- Contribute to UI/UX decisions that keep the interface intuitive and accessible for a diverse user base.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing consumer-grade mobile applications with Kotlin for Android.
- Practical understanding of large language models and how they power intelligent personal assistants.
- Proven ability to integrate RESTful APIs, manage local and remote databases, and work with cloud storage solutions.
- Comfort working within an agile development process and adapting quickly to evolving priorities.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience building consumer-facing mobile products at scale.
