As we continue to grow, we are looking for a second member to join our data team and help us build the foundational infrastructure that will drive our business forward.
Key outcomes
- Develop and visualize essential business and product metrics through dashboards and charts.
- Design and analyze A/B experiments to optimize product performance.
- Maintain and adapt dbt models to support new features and business lines.
- Create core data models that serve as a reliable source of truth across the organization.
- Establish frameworks for data quality monitoring and self-serve analytics.
- Build and manage ETL and reverse ETL pipelines to integrate data across our warehouse and GTM tools.
- Conduct deep-dive research projects to uncover insights into user behavior, growth levers, and enterprise lead identification.
- Forecast growth and provide strategic insights to inform product and business decisions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in an analytics-oriented data role.
- Expert-level fluency in SQL and dbt, with experience working on modern data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Looker, Mode, or Tableau.
- A strong engineering mindset, including experience with version control, command line tools, CI/CD, and writing tests.
- Ability to write performant queries and optimize compute costs across the data stack.
- A bias for action and the ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business strategy.
- Strong curiosity and a meticulous approach to identifying the root causes of anomalies.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience using Python.
- Familiarity with the GCP data stack, including GCS, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
- Experience processing unstructured data or natural language using distributed systems like Spark, PySpark, or Databricks.
- Previous experience working on a data team within an early-stage startup environment.
Compensation
The budgeted salary for this position is $165,000 to $175,000. In addition to a competitive base salary, we provide meaningful equity in the company with a four-year vesting schedule. Our benefits package includes:
