We are currently looking for a talented Analytics Developer to join our engineering team and help shape our data-driven marketing efforts.
Key outcomes
- Design comprehensive data capture strategies, including UTM parameters and URL query strings, to support our marketing objectives and measurement goals.
- Manage and administer our core analytics and tag management platforms, specifically Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable implementations for web analytics and A/B testing platforms.
- Write, customize, and debug campaign code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to ensure functionality within complex environments.
- Maintain high data quality standards across our marketing technology stack and proactively resolve data discrepancies.
- Implement tracking code and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
Requirements
- Professional experience working with industry-standard site analytics and tagging tools, such as Google Analytics/GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Practical knowledge of implementing conversion pixels, click tags, and various campaign tracking methods.
- Approximately 3 or more years of experience in web development and analytics.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency using Git for version control.
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript, including ES6, as well as HTML5 and CSS3.
- A deep commitment to detail and cross-browser, cross-device compatibility.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with privacy regulations and industry compliance standards.
- Experience with the Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud ecosystem.
- Knowledge of paid media advertising platforms like Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Bing.
- Technical documentation skills and experience working with developer tools.
- Understanding of API integrations and both client-side and server-side tracking methodologies.
- A history of mentoring other developers.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is 98,000 to 146,000 USD. This compensation package includes base salary, potential commissions, and annual bonus targets where applicable.
