The role
We are looking for an Analog Design Lead/Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that requires a seasoned professional capable of managing a high-performing analog engineering group. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing collaborative team leadership with deep technical contributions to our chip development projects.
Core responsibilities
- Oversee the analog team by managing, hiring, and mentoring talent to ensure we maintain a strong, capable group for chip development.
- Evaluate and select third-party IP, such as PCIe, USB, and Ethernet PHY, while performing necessary customizations to ensure seamless integration into our products.
- Drive the full design lifecycle, from architecting circuit solutions and performing schematic capture to managing layout design and validating finished silicon alongside our operations and packaging teams.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proven track record in the semiconductor industry.
- A BSEE is required, and an MSEE is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in the analog semiconductor industry, including prior experience leading chip projects and successfully taping out products.
- Technical proficiency with advanced nodes, specifically 22nm, 16nm, 12nm, and lower.
- Deep familiarity with analog components such as PAs, LNAs, modulators, and biasing, as well as experience with high-speed ADC design, Digital PLL, SerDes, or PMU.
- Expertise in both time-domain and frequency-domain analysis and design techniques.
- Bonus points for experience with EHF or mmWave design.
- Fluency in English is required for effective collaboration across our multidisciplinary teams.
