As a mid-level Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer based in Canada, you will collaborate with a group of industry experts who value innovation and first-principles thinking. What you'll be doing

• You will develop custom analog and mixed-signal blocks specifically for high-speed wireline links.
• You will collaborate closely with our digital teams to ensure your mixed-signal designs are implemented and optimized effectively.
• You will manage the full design lifecycle, including verification, post-silicon validation, and characterization of your mixed-signal projects.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a passion for high-speed design. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• An M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
• At least two years of professional experience designing high-speed SerDes components, such as transmitters, receivers, CTLEs, or PLLs.
• Direct experience working with advanced CMOS processes, such as finFET at 5nm or below, for data rates of 10Gb/s or higher.
• Proficiency using the Cadence Virtuoso design environment, including simulation tools like ADE and Spectre.
• A deep understanding of high-speed layout challenges, including crosstalk isolation, parasitics, and supply distribution.
• Practical experience with silicon bring-up, debugging, and evaluation.
• Fluency in English.
• Hands-on layout experience is considered a significant asset.
