About the Role
We are hiring a Senior AI Solutions Architect to join our Applied AI team on a full-time basis. In this role you will design and lead the integration of cutting-edge AI systems into our platform, shaping how intelligent automation supports millions of Americans navigating government benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI-driven solutions that address the unique challenges of federal benefits applications, from intelligent document processing to automated eligibility assessment.
- Lead the orchestration of large language models and agent-based systems, combining multiple models and frameworks to deliver reliable, production-grade capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and domain experts to translate complex technical possibilities into practical tools that reduce burden for both applicants and federal agencies.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related field; exceptional candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
- At least five years of professional experience designing and deploying AI and machine learning solutions at scale, with hands-on work applying these technologies to real-world problems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep familiarity with open AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Expert-level skill in prompt engineering and advanced LLM orchestration techniques, including the design of agent-based AI systems that coordinate multiple models effectively.
- Experience working in agile development environments and a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through thoughtful application of AI techniques.
- Proven leadership in bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivering shared goals.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and data security, ideally within healthcare or government services contexts.
- A genuine commitment to using technology for social good and improving equitable access to public benefits.
