About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Product Engineer to join our AI team on a full-time basis. Based at our headquarters in Ghent, you will work alongside four data scientists, two software engineers, and a team lead. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of AI-driven technology across the Silverfin platform, ensuring our tools provide maximum efficiency and value to our global accounting clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI applications designed to streamline and improve the effectiveness of accounting workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and fellow engineers to identify and solve complex business and customer challenges.
- Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of the AI stack within the broader Silverfin ecosystem.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Proven track record of delivering tangible product value to clients.
- Strong technical proficiency with microservices and RESTful services.
- A willingness to work from our Ghent office approximately 3 days per week.
- Familiarity with modern tools such as FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.

This position is based in Belgium, specifically at our headquarters in Ghent.
