AI Platform Engineer at Roblox

We are currently seeking an AI Platform Engineer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity within the United States. In this role, you will help build the infrastructure that empowers our creators to move from concept to production, shaping the future of human interaction and solving complex technical challenges at scale.

Key outcomes

• Develop a groundbreaking Knowledge Graph that links millions of gamers, developers, and assets to improve recommendations, safety, and social connectivity.
• Design and maintain large-scale data pipelines capable of processing billions of records daily while supporting millions of queries per second for machine learning models.
• Partner with internal product teams to define the roadmap for next-generation AI platforms.
• Innovate using modern technologies like VectorDB, Feature Stores, and ground truth data labeling to establish new industry benchmarks.
• Collaborate across functional teams to deploy impactful AI and machine learning solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in AI platform features, with a specific focus on machine learning data infrastructure.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• A builder’s mindset and a passion for creating technology that fosters global connection and growth.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $234,000 to $284,000 USD. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term success, including:
