We are looking for an experienced AI Lead Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Singapore. In this role you will guide the design and deployment of advanced AI systems that protect our platform and users from fraud, ensuring the continued safety and reliability of our services.
Key outcomes
- Lead the development and deployment of advanced AI models, with particular emphasis on transformer architectures, to detect and prevent fraudulent activity across our platform.
- Apply transformer models to sequential user data in order to uncover behavioral patterns that may signal fraud and improve detection accuracy.
- Partner with data engineering teams to refine data pipelines, build training datasets, and optimize model performance for both accuracy and efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate model results, integrate the latest machine-learning research, and iterate on algorithms to maintain industry-leading fraud prevention standards.
- Present model capabilities and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk-management priorities.
- Mentor and develop team members in AI technologies and methodologies while overseeing anti-fraud project planning and delivery.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in technology companies, including a minimum of 5 years focused on fraud detection or prevention with direct application of AI and machine-learning techniques.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing deep-learning models and user-behavior analytics to identify fraud and security risks.
- Hands-on expertise in feature engineering, transformer models, and clustering algorithms.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing technical teams and delivering complex systems that emphasize fraud prevention and risk mitigation.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in startup or fast-paced technology environments, or within top-tier technology companies.
- Published research or notable contributions in cybersecurity, particularly in areas related to fraud detection and platform security.
