About the Role
As an AI Innovator, your job is to seamlessly blend agentic AI compute into the infrastructure of Cere distributed data clusters (DDCs), thus advancing Cere’s Sovereign Data Stack.
Our mostly solidified top-level design is:
- Dynamic data indexing as the data enters the DDCs, via the ETL pipeline so far.
- Data querying, to be performed by individual AI Agents, in a localized secure way.
- An orchestrator to configure triggers and engagements for an alive, breathing AI system.
In addition, we have several sophisticated AI demos (video, geo, predictions), as well as an end-to-end Decentralized Leaderboard project that is launching soon.
The AI team in Cere gauges the role to be ~45% data pipelines infrastructure, ~10% building AI demos, and ~45% integration work. Good news is, we do not have massive datasets to manually clean up, since we gather all the data ourselves. On the flip side, the AI Innovator we are looking forward to hiring will spend considerable time in conversations with other engineers on how to best perform data onboarding and further data crunching in safe, secure, and performant ways.
Ideal Candidate
An ideal candidate we are looking to find and help grow into a world-class Agentic AI leader:
- Has worked with founders closely, or was a founder before.
- Is interested in driving the data-pipelines-first approach to AI Agents marketplace.
- Can put together bleeding-edge AI demos quickly (computer vision, LLMs, video, sentiment analysis, etc.), and is eager to focus on reducing their time-to-market.
- Is interested in decentralization, since it poses an extra challenge with AI @ Cere.
- Prioritizes hard-earned knowledge over showing off with numbers.
- Shares the view that AI workflows start from data onboarding and dynamic indexing.
- Enjoys on- and off-site events when we get the team together and work face to face.
We seek a hands-on AI dataflows architect to help shape the data platform here at Cere.
