AI Infrastructure Engineer at HeyGen

At HeyGen our mission is to make visual storytelling accessible to everyone by building the fastest-growing generative AI platform for business video creation. We are looking for an experienced engineer who wants to help power the next generation of AI-driven video tools from the ground up.

What is this role?

This is a full-time, on-site position for a senior-level AI Infrastructure Engineer. You will join our engineering team in the United States and focus on designing and scaling the core systems that run our AI products.

What will you do?

• Design, build, and maintain the AI infrastructure that supports our applications, including workflow scheduling systems that improve GPU efficiency, model optimization for faster inference, and large-scale evaluation and serving systems.
• Work closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand their computational needs and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
• Stay current with emerging AI infrastructure technologies, advocate for best practices, and help manage cloud resources and infrastructure budgets.

What makes you a great fit?

We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and at least five years of professional experience. You should have a proven track record managing infrastructure for large-scale AI or machine learning projects, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Proficiency in Python and C++ is required, as is hands-on experience with GPU computing, optimizing computational workflows, and working with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience with CUDA, optimizing large deep-learning models, building large-scale batch inference systems, and thriving in a startup or fast-paced environment are all highly valued. Strong English communication skills complete the profile.

The salary range for this role is $180,000 – $250,000 annually.
