The opportunity
We are looking for an AI Engineering Director to join our team in Singapore. In this executive role, you will lead the charge in implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence, specifically transformer models, to protect our platform from fraudulent activity. You will act as the primary expert in AI-driven fraud detection, integrating sophisticated models into our risk infrastructure to ensure our systems remain both secure and efficient. Please note that we are currently prioritizing applicants who hold a valid right to work in Singapore and do not require visa sponsorship.
A day in the life
- You will lead the end-to-end development and deployment of advanced AI models, focusing on the use of transformer models to identify and mitigate fraud.
- You will collaborate closely with our data engineering teams to refine data inputs and train models, ensuring our fraud detection systems are highly accurate and performant.
- You will manage the strategic planning for our anti-fraud initiatives while mentoring team members to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Who you are
You are a seasoned leader with at least 10 years of experience in the technology sector, including a minimum of 5 years dedicated to fraud detection and prevention. You possess an advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and you are fluent in English. Your technical toolkit includes hands-on experience with feature designing, transformer models, and clustering algorithms. You have a proven track record of managing technical teams and delivering complex systems, and you thrive in fast-paced environments where strategic thinking and clear communication are essential. Experience in top-tier tech companies or startups, along with published research in cybersecurity, is highly valued.
