What you bring

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join us on a full-time hybrid basis. In this role you will lead quality assurance for our AI products that are already being piloted with major UK lenders and brokers. You will combine deep technical expertise with business insight to create evaluation frameworks, maintain production reliability, and keep our generative-AI capabilities at the cutting edge. Three key responsibilities include evaluating and benchmarking large language models, setting up monitoring and regression testing for our AI systems, and owning our prompt-management processes while supporting prompt-engineering best practices across teams. The position is open to candidates located anywhere.

Requirements

You will bring research or engineering experience in deep learning covering areas such as generative models, segmentation, object detection, classification, or model optimisation, along with a proven ability to train and fine-tune generative models. You should have hands-on experience building data-driven monitoring systems for non-deterministic outputs and translating complex research into practical team resources. Strong Python skills are essential, and you will be comfortable working across both technical and business contexts in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required. An advanced degree in machine learning or computer vision, experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and familiarity with RAG frameworks or UK financial-services technology are all advantageous. The ideal candidate is curious, pragmatic, and excited by the challenge of turning the latest advances in generative AI into reliable, production-grade mortgage solutions.

What we offer

We offer a salary range of £70,000-£80,000 depending on experience, plus eligibility for our annual discretionary bonus of up to 20 percent of base salary. Every team member also completes our Advanced GenAI Practitioners qualification during onboarding, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate in person with colleagues in our India office while playing a visible role in a high-growth company.
