What is this role?

We are searching for a Senior AI Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in the United States where you will play a critical role in shaping our AI-powered workflows and agent-driven interactions. You will be at the heart of our efforts to build scalable, robust systems that enhance our safety features and overall user experience.

What will you do?

• Design, build, and maintain sophisticated AI agent workflows that prioritize scalability, high-quality interactions, and user safety.
• Refine prompt engineering strategies to improve the accuracy and conversational performance of our generative AI models.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate AI workflows with our backend infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and reliable system observability.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a startup mindset and feel comfortable navigating ambiguity. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications to our team:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in AI engineering, including specific expertise in backend integration and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Golang and Python for backend development.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP, along with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database design and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, LLM observability platforms like LangFuse, and fine-tuning models using tools such as TensorZero or Argilla.
• Experience working with Voice AI Agents using technologies like WebRTC and WebSockets.
• Fluency in English.
