We began integrating artificial intelligence into our services in 2019, and we are now looking for a talented professional to help us expand our AI practice from initial prototypes to full-scale production systems.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work on-site to help our clients navigate the complexities of artificial intelligence. You will be instrumental in shaping the direction of our AI services by applying your expertise in areas like generative AI, computer vision, or natural language processing to solve real-world problems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within a cross-functional team to develop AI components and the software products that house them.
• Guide customers through the process of identifying how AI can meet their specific needs, including advising on costs, impact, and necessary prerequisites.
• Mentor your colleagues at SEP on the best ways to apply artificial intelligence to complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A Master’s degree with an AI focus, or equivalent professional experience in your specific AI specialty.
• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to people with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship or reliance on OPT or CPT status.

Location

This position is based on-site in Westfield, Indiana.
