At Weights & Biases, we are dedicated to building the essential tools that AI developers rely on. We started with the insight that while developers had great resources for writing code, machine learning practitioners lacked similar support for building better models. Since launching our initial experiment tracking product, we have grown into a comprehensive platform that helps organizations build their own deep learning models and generative AI applications. As a Series C company backed by $250 million in funding, we support over 1,000 customers, including industry leaders like OpenAI, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Toyota. We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our GenAI Enterprise Accelerator team and help major enterprises integrate generative AI into their core operations.
What you'll be doing
- Design, build, and optimize generative AI pipelines for enterprise clients, ensuring they can effectively utilize our tools to unlock the full potential of large language models.
- Partner directly with software and machine learning teams to troubleshoot complex, real-world problems and deliver technical solutions that move projects from proof of concept into full production.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to help companies adopt and scale their AI capabilities, providing guidance on best practices and feeding customer insights back to our internal product team.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have 3 to 5 years of experience in machine learning or enterprise-focused engineering. We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of software development best practices like automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep technical expertise with Transformers, PyTorch, NumPy, and Pandas.
- Hands-on experience working within cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as comfort with Linux/Unix systems.
- A track record of building AI applications in production and familiarity with modern LLM tools, vector databases, and frameworks like Langchain.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A location within the San Francisco Bay Area, as this is a hybrid role that requires occasional travel to meet with our customers.
What you'll get
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and long-term financial growth. You can expect the following:
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in our collective success.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- Participation in a 401(k) retirement program.
- A dedicated home office budget to help you set up your workspace.
- The flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
