Backed by investors like GV and Lightspeed, we are building a platform that evolves beyond the Apache Kafka protocol to provide a unified engine of record that simplifies complexity and offers high-performance storage for both real-time and historical data.
Responsibilities
- Create a strategic roadmap for technical content and community growth that aligns with our core business goals.
- Produce high-quality technical content, including videos, written articles, and live presentations.
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, and other key figures within the AI technology ecosystem.
- Collaborate directly with our engineering and product teams to provide feedback on specifications and develop practical code samples.
- Partner with the marketing department to design and execute developer engagement campaigns.
- Track the impact of your community initiatives using data metrics to ensure we are meeting our objectives.
- Maintain deep expertise in AI, machine learning, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development to identify new opportunities for Redpanda.
Must-haves
- A genuine passion for developer experience and building strong relationships within technical communities.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams to drive engagement around AI and event-driven technologies.
- Hands-on experience producing code-intensive content across various formats like podcasts, blogs, and live streams.
- Technical proficiency with Golang, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, and Python.
- Experience with public speaking and a comfort level presenting to both small meetups and large conference audiences.
- Active participation in developer-centric channels such as Reddit, Twitter, and Dev.to.
- Strong project management skills and a commitment to high-quality content delivery.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to measure performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Experience building distributed data applications, including work with Kafka, vector stores, and RAG systems.
- Excellent written English skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $177,000 to $215,000 depending on your specific location and experience.
