The opportunity

We are looking for an AI Cloud Engineering Manager to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This executive-level role is central to our growth, as you will lead a team of world-class engineers in defining the vision and execution of our AI-first cloud platform. You will bridge the gap between product strategy and technical implementation, ensuring our infrastructure remains at the cutting edge of the industry while fostering a culture of operational excellence and high-velocity delivery.

A day in the life

• You will spearhead the technical strategy and architectural roadmaps for our cloud applications, guiding the team through complex development cycles.
• You will cultivate and retain top-tier engineering talent by implementing performance management strategies and professional development programs that keep our team at the forefront of the industry.
• You will collaborate across departments to align engineering efforts with product and company goals, ensuring we deliver features that meet the needs of our global user base.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with over 10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in a management role within high-growth environments. You possess deep technical expertise in cloud-native architectures, specifically with Kubernetes and large-scale distributed systems. Your background includes proficiency in Python and React, and you have a strong track record of designing public-facing APIs that prioritize developer experience. You communicate effectively in English and have the emotional intelligence required to inspire teams during periods of rapid scaling. While not required, experience with Go, Linux programming, and event-driven systems like Kafka or Kinesis will set you apart.
