AI Artist at Picsart

We are searching for a highly creative and technically skilled Senior AI Artist to join our GenAI initiative at Picsart. As the world’s largest digital creation platform, we empower millions of users to remix and share visual stories, and you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our library by designing high-quality presets, developing effective prompts, and ensuring our AI outputs remain top-tier.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality AI presets across various formats, including images, avatars, video effects, transitions, camera motions, and environmental styles.
• Create consistent preset families and prototype new visual directions using industry-leading generative models.
• Write and refine production-ready prompts that prioritize consistency, realism, and quality while building scalable prompt frameworks.
• Monitor emerging visual trends to produce fast-moving, viral, or seasonal content.
• Manage visual quality assurance for all preset outputs, defining standards for lighting, composition, color grading, and subject clarity.
• Collaborate with our Product and SEO teams to align assets with traffic-driving themes and ensure they meet specific user needs.
• Organize presets and maintain metadata within our content management system to support smooth product launches.

Must-haves

• A strong portfolio demonstrating AI-generated visual work across image or video media.
• Expertise in working with multiple generative models, such as Midjourney, Runway, Veo, Luma, Gemini, Flash, or Flux.
• A solid understanding of core artistic principles, including lighting, composition, framing, character design, and stylization.
• Proven experience in writing detailed, structured prompts and implementing preservation constraints.
• The ability to iterate quickly while maintaining a high standard of output quality.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional background in visual effects, illustration, concept art, motion design, or photography.
• Familiarity with product or UX workflows and SEO-driven creative content strategies.
• Experience working with CMS-driven content systems, filter creation, or preset management.
• Knowledge of VFX, camera motion presets, and dynamic composition techniques.
