Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in Germany, where you will play a critical role in shaping our aerial platform capabilities. You will work within a specialized team to bridge the gap between theoretical flight dynamics and real-world system performance.
Your impact
- Develop and execute high-fidelity aerodynamic simulations to predict and refine the behavior of future aerial platforms.
- Collaborate with our flight dynamics and control teams to plan characterization efforts and validate computational models against experimental and flight test data.
- Build and maintain efficient, scalable workflows for computational aerodynamics while reporting key technical findings to our engineering leadership.
What you'll need
- A Master’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in applied computational aerodynamics, with a strong preference for fixed-wing aircraft expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in software engineering, specifically writing clean, structured code in Python, Matlab, or Rust.
- A deep understanding of flight mechanics and systems modeling.
- Excellent English communication skills, allowing you to present complex technical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
