HyperionDev is a leading global provider of accelerated tech education, partnering with prestigious institutions like Imperial College London and the University of Edinburgh to bridge the global tech skills gap. As a profitable and rapidly scaling startup backed by Meta, we are looking for an Admissions Consultant to help guide aspiring students toward life-changing careers in technology.
Responsibilities
- Advise potential students on course selection and enrollment through consultative phone conversations.
- Manage the full customer relationship from initial lead assignment to final conversion.
- Consistently meet and exceed key performance indicators and admissions targets.
- Build and maintain long-term, positive relationships with our learners.
- Support the growth of the team by training junior staff members when necessary.
- Handle all administrative tasks related to the admissions process with high accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify new opportunities for enrollment optimization.
- Monitor the competitive e-learning landscape to identify new business opportunities.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements to increase team efficiency.
Must-haves
- At least 2 years of professional, full-time experience in a closing sales role.
- A proven track record of meeting revenue targets and performance quotas over at least 2 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers.
- At least 2 years of experience managing pipelines and reporting within a CRM system.
- 1 year of exposure to the South African tech industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, proactive mindset.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours when required.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience working within the education or e-learning sector.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python.
- A degree in Marketing, Commerce, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing or lead generation.
- Prior experience in a senior or team leadership capacity.
