At Union, we are tackling some of the most complex hurdles in AI infrastructure by helping organizations iterate quickly while maintaining production-ready AI workloads at scale. We are the stewards of Flyte, an open-source project that has become the standard for data and AI orchestration. Our platform supports mission-critical workloads for industry leaders such as Spotify, LinkedIn, and Gojek. Our team is built on a foundation of deep technical expertise, featuring infrastructure veterans from major tech companies and the original creators of Flyte from their time at Lyft.

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Account Executive to join our team in a full-time capacity. As one of our early sales hires, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing new business. You will play a pivotal role in introducing our groundbreaking AI and cloud infrastructure solutions to businesses and developers, helping us scale our impact across the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, developing value propositions, building business cases, and closing deals.
  • Execute a strategic sales plan for your assigned territory to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop deep technical expertise in our product offerings to effectively communicate our unique value to prospective clients and partners.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a proven history of success in software sales who is ready to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. You should possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of progressive SaaS sales experience, including time spent in SDR, commercial, and enterprise roles.
  • Demonstrated success selling complex technical solutions directly to developers and engineers.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills, paired with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in the AI, machine learning, or cloud infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.

Location

This position is based in San Francisco and requires an on-site presence.
